Special Events

Applied Media & Communication Arts (AMCA) students will be presenting some tremendously astonishing art work for everyone to stop by and experience! We are interpreting music in a visual medium.

Work is ongoing in the AMCA classroom at NSCC Burridge Campus, getting ready for their spring art show. AMCA students have planned and designed marketing materials and artwork for the upcoming art show in April. This year the theme is music.

We are expecting a very good turn out and cannot wait to display all of the lovely art work that everyone here in the AMCA class put all of their hard work and effort into! The AMCA Art Project is a part of some of the outstanding community Service Learning that takes place through Yarmouth county’s very own NSCC Burridge Campus.

It will be held in the lobby of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia - Western Branch in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia from 26 April 2017 to 26 May 2017. The art show is put on by the AMCA class of 2017. The show is never the same, every year there is a new theme and a new group of students.
