Family Sunday: Storytelling with Linda Marie Coakley

Date Time:
Sunday, 21 January 2018 - 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Family Sundays
“The light goes, the sky falls, January rubs it clammy hands together.” It’s the perfect season for learning to be a dramatic storyteller! Easy exercises can help you to become an engaging performer of a (very) short story. Have a favourite? Bring it along! This afternoon is suitable for children ages 8 and up. Come along with mom, dad, or any eager adult. Join in the fun, laughing and learning new skills, while listening to each others’ (maybe odd and eerie?) tales – suitable for an early winter’s eve!
This Family Sunday workshop is facilitated by Linda Marie Coakley, writer, play director, storyteller, and Art Gallery of Nova Scotia ArtsSmarts Theatre Education program provider.
