Halifax, NS – Organizers are pleased to announce planning is underway for the third annual Nocturne: Art Art at Night set to take place on October 16th, 2010. The signature nighttime arts event brought an estimated 9000 people out to the streets of Halifax in 2009. Under new direction, the event is expected to return in full force and offer another round of exciting exhibitions.
The 2010 committee is led by newly appointed Co-Chairs Alyson Queen and Rose Zack. Rose and Alyson have both been involved since the event’s launch and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience. Alyson is Public Affairs Manager at Bell Aliant and Past Chair of FUSION Halifax. Carmichael is currently pursuing graduate studies in Montreal and will still be involved as the organization’s Past Chair for 2010.
In anticipation of the event’s growth, the committee is now seeking applications for Board Directors to join the Nocturne volunteer team. Areas include: programming, communications, and operations. Visit the
