The meeting rental rooms are part of a public gallery. Noise should be kept at a minimum and activities are to be contained to the meeting room and not flow to other areas. All rooms must be left in good order when vacated.
Liquor is only permitted when the Gallery is closed. Red wine consumption is restricted to certain areas because of the threat it poses to artwork.
The organization renting space must notify the Gallery of any catering and provide contact information. Groups must ensure pick up of equipment following the meeting and Gallery staff is not responsible for any catering/refreshment arrangements or equipment.
The Gallery does not supply:
Tablecloths, glassware, china, etc.
Entertainment (report technical requirements at least 2 weeks prior to event)
Extension cords for coffee percolators, entertainment equipment, etc.
The Gallery will not assume liability for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to equipment resulting from actions of any person or group renting museum facilities.
The Gallery can supply additional equipment at a fee:
TV/VCR
Video Projector (Lecture Theatre only)
Overhead projector
Slide projector
Flip chart/easel
LCD projector
Speakers, microphone, podium
Limited number of tables and chairs
Smoking is not permitted in the Gallery or near public entrances. For the comfort of all visitors, the Gallery is scent-free.
