In these new paintings Mary
Ann encourages
the viewer to delight in the lyrical and visual delights of commonplace
objects. Works will be on display in the gallery from June 1st-30th
2010.
"Everyone has a personal relationship
with things, places and the temporal. These paintings are little moments,
ferreted out, a pause in an otherwise busy life. I hope to evoke a sense of
stillness and peacefulness in the viewer with this selection of paintings."
