FASHION RE-DESIGN: ONE OF A KIND
Learn to see possibilities in older pieces of clothing and transform garments from blah to FANTASTIC! Artist/designer Sherry Lynn Jollymore will lead the exploration into some of the creative ways to reinvent your wardrobe. Basic sewing skills recommended. There will be a field trip on Day 2 to a local secondhand shop.

BIRDLAND
Explore the colourful theme of birds through drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media collage, and design with art educator Charlotte Marble. Artists inspired by this theme will be referenced to help students learn about creating bird works with paper, clay, pattern and found objects. Join us for fun-filled, bird-loving art-making! A special summer exhibition featuring Nova Scotian folk art birds will be an added treat too for inspiration and ideas!

PHOTOGRAPHY
Join photographer Brittany Warren to explore the world of photography. Learn the basic history behind photography as you create your own pin-hole cameras using recycled materials and then develop your own black and white photographs. You will understand more about both the science and magic of photography.
