One Sunday a month the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia hosts Family Sundays. Drop in with your family and friends between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm for an afternoon of in-studio activities inspired by a specific exhibition or theme. All materials supplied.

The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia is proud to welcome Telus as the Gallery's new Family Sunday sponsor!

Children need to be accompanied by an adult but registration is not required. 

Members free. Regular Gallery admission rates apply for non-members.

Pop Goes the Easel! Listen to an interactive musical ensemble (at 1:30pm), make music and make art! The concert starts at 1:30pm but the studios are open from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.

Join us for a glittery, shiny, golden afternoon of fun and creativity inspired by the exhibition Gold: A Nova Scotia Treasure.

Pop Goes the Easel! Listen to an interactive musical brass ensemble with Symphony Nova Scotia musicians (at 1:30pm), try out some instruments yourself at Long & McQuade's Instrument Petting Zoo, and visit the AGNS studios for some creative art making activities. A great way to start the March Break Week!

Join us for an afternoon all about light. As part of the afternoon, we will create colourful lanterns to be used for decoration at the AGNS June fundraiser, CARNIVALE: India. See how artists too have used light and shadow in their artworks!
