IWK Health Centre
The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia has worked with Child Life Services at the IWK Health Centre since 2003. This collaboration enables Child Life and Gallery staff to offer innovative visual art workshops for children, teens, and families in addition to curatorial projects. Presently, AGNS is working with the IWK Diversity Committee and other community partners on a special art project.

The Berkeley – a residence for seniors in Halifax
This program, developed with The Berkeley in fall 2007, provided art workshops at the residence for seniors with alzheimers. Workshops were offered in painting, drawing, textiles, printmaking, and sculpture. The following shows some of the works created through this program.
