MARCH BREAK ART CLASSES: Monday, March 10 - Friday, March 14, 2014

Sign up for a week of creative fun in the studio facilitated by a local artist! Both half day and full day opportunities are available. Interactive discussions and activities inspired by the original artworks in the Gallery are a unique and inspiring component of this art experience!

With artist Melinda Spooner, we will explore pop art with poster making, image transfers, sculpture and artist trading cards in an examination of artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Arturo Herrera. We will look at comics, cartoons and consumption through the ages and learn about high and low art while creating our own pop art from found materials in the making of our own imagined superheroes and super products to save the world.
