Daily Tour

Join us for an enlightening and informal guided tour of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. The Daily Tour is led by knowledgeable and experienced volunteers who work closely with the AGNS programming department.

Gallery guides conduct the daily public tour by interpreting the collection and exhibitions through conversations with visitors from around the neighbourhood and around the world.

Participation in the Daily Tour is free with Admission.

Winter Tour Hours: Wednesday to Sunday, every day at 2:30 and Thursday evening at 7:00 pm

All are welcome!

(Note for groups: Groups are encouraged to attend the Daily tour, however it is recommended that you call ahead at 902-424-5280 so we can anticipate your group).

Girl Guides of Canada / Scouts Canada

The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia is an excellent resource for completing many of the requirements for arts and culture badges in all levels of Guiding and Scouts. Take an interactive guided tour of the Gallery to learn more about how artists work, what inspires them, and how art influences society.

The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia is open Thursday evenings until 9:00 pm. Most Girl Guide/Scout groups change their meeting night to Thursday on the week they want to visit the Gallery. The program is 1.5 hours, and is generally booked from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. The group rate on Thursday evenings is 30$ for a guided tour for youth, adults by donation.
