Upon first glance, hockey and art seem to have very little in common. However if one takes the time to consider the two more closely, all kinds of commonalities can be found: creativity, excellence, imagination, and passion, just to name a few. This edited version of the highly successful AGNS exhibition ARENA: The Art of Hockey celebrates the spirit of Canada’s national pastime. Including works in diverse media such as video projections, sculpture installation, painting, printmaking and photography, ARENA:  Road Game examines all aspects of our fascination with the game of hockey, as well as looking at larger ideas and issues about culture today, using hockey as a starting point.
