, the centerpiece of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia’s fundraising initiatives this year, is fast approaching. This Over the Big Top Night takes place Friday, June 11 in the Gallery’s Ondaatje Courtyard at 1723 Hollis Street.
Set against a Three Ring backdrop, artists, arts' patrons, and community leaders will come together to celebrate the Gallery’s place in the cultural landscape. This exclusive evening will feature circus performers, carnival games and contests, and fortune tellers, to name just a few highlights.
The Carnivale theme will further come alive through encounters with art – visual and performing – and guided tours of the permanent collection and vaults all evening. Gala goers will also have an opportunity to bid on remarkable silent auction items.
Tickets are $200 each or $2000 for a Ring of Ten and include hors d’oeuvres and music in addition to the stunning theatrics and art experiences. Purchase your tickets online

Proceeds from the Gala event will go towards operating and programming costs, including sustaining art education programs and outreach for youth at risk.
