Interested in Finding out More?
The AGNS welcomes researchers interested in finding out more about particular artists and the artworks in the AGNS permanent collection. The AGNS maintains files on all the artists in the permanent collection.

At the moment, detailed research can only be conducted on-site, however, a good starting point for all research is through Artefacts Canada, which contains full records for the entire AGNS permanent colelction.

The AGNS staff is happy to accommodate reasonable amounts of preliminary research on behalf of researchers, as well as formal research visits. Research requests that require excessive amounts of staff time will be charged a curatorial fee.

If you are interested in arranging for a research visit, please complete the following form and submit it via email parkers@gov.ns.ca or fax (902) 424-0750.
