Through the Halifax Development Office, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia has a volunteer internship program for Public Relations and Graphic Design students.
Qualifications- English fluency required
- Must be currently enrolled or a recent graduate from a recognized post-secondary institution
- Must provide a resume and attend an interview, either by phone or in person
Hours & AvailabilityWe require a minimum time commitment of four weeks. Internships can be full-time (35 hours a week) or part-time (hours can vary depending on circumstance) and are available throughout the year.
Part-time hours must fall within the Gallery's regular office hours of Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Internships are not available from late April into early June or during the December holiday season as we have a steady internship through a local college at those times.
