Easter Weekend at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia

The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia will remain open on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

The Gallery is the perfect place to visit for art lovers and creative thinkers of all ages and Easter weekend is the final weekend to view the exhibitions Arboretum and The Last Frontier. Our permanent collection offers many crowd-pleasing options from our beloved Maud Lewis Gallery to the vast history shown in the permanent exhibition A View from the Atlantic.

Don’t miss our art making station outside the Arboretum exhibition and pick up a family guide at our information desk. Guided tours are offered daily at 2:30 pm, speak with the visitor services staff at the admissions desk for details. Drop by our newly revitalized Gallery Shop and stop in Art Sales and Rentals* to browse the selection of artwork available for purchase or rent.

Admission is free to Gallery Members

The Gallery will remain open 7 days a week until November.

Gallery Hours:
7 Days a Week 10:00 am - 5:00 pm 
Thursdays 10:00 am - 9:00 pm

Daily Tours:
Tuesday to Sunday at 2:30 pm
Thursday at 2:30 and 7:00 pm
